Jean Margaret O'Neal

Jonesville Mrs. Jean Margaret Tibbs O'Neal, age 79, of Oakland Blvd. passed away Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. O'Neal was born July 13, 1927 in Havre de Grace, MD to John F. & Elsie Mae Johnson Tibbs. Mrs. O'Neal was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Margaret J. Jones Hefley and Charlene O'Neal. Survivors include: a daughter, Patricia Fleming and husband Miles of Elkin; a stepdaughter, Kathy Riddle of Oklahoma; a son-in-law, Johnny Wood of Elkin; a brother, Charles Tibbs of Maryland; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 17, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bobby Prevette. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in Harford Memorial Gardens in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
