Jonesville Mr. Victor Arnold Allen, age 72, of US Hwy. 21 South, Jonesville, passed away Friday, March 30, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Allen was born December 22, 1934 in Carroll County, Va. to William Elbert & Francis Elizabeth Hanes Allen. Mr. Allen was a veteran of the United States Army and was of the Baptist Faith and he was retired from construction work. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Goodman; three brothers, Willie Allen, Chester Allen, Marvin Allen; a sister, Faye Slate; a grandson, Johnie Keith Crouse, Jr.; a great grandson, Tristen Keith Hernandez. Survivors include: a son, William Vincent Mashburn of Marion; two daughters, Janie Marie Teague and husband Eric of Cooleemee, Susan Allen Alba and husband Antonio of Jonesville; two brothers, Friel Allen and wife Francis of Pinnacle, Arthur Lee Allen of Georgia; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
