Reggie Farrell Adkins

Roaring River Mr. Reggie Farrell Adkins, age 67, of Austin Little Mountain Road, passed away Friday, November 5, 2010 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Adkins was born October 18, 1943 in Yadkin County to Claude Jack & Grace A. Myers Adkins. Mr. Adkins was retired from Chatham Manufacturing and was a member of Oak Level Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Adkins; a sister, Alta Cox; a grandson, Brian Moore. Survivors include: his wife, Debbie D. Adkins of the home; two sons, Kent Adkins of the home and Billy Adkins of Boomer; three daughters, Wendy Adkins of Wilkesboro, Tammy Goodwin and her husband Darren of the home, Amy Moore of Jonesville; a brother, Jeff Adkins and his wife Jennifer of Jonesville; three sisters, Carol Jane Pardue and her husband Gary, Shirley Caudill and her husband Leonard all of Hamptonville, Debbie Hutchens and her husband Roger of Ronda; seven grandchildren, Faylene, Jonathon, Britany, Avery, Cory, Reggie, Jason, Summer and Eli; three great grandchildren, Karley, Jayden and Nate. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Level Baptist Church by Rev. Shane Pardue. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday at the church from 1:00-2:00 p.m. The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Oak Level Baptist Church.
