State Road Ms. Donna Sue Royal, age 42, of Rambo Trail, State Road, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2008 at her residence. Ms. Royal was born January 9, 1966 in Asheboro to Joseph David & Martha Benge Adams. Ms. Royal was a homemaker and was a member of Crickett Baptist Church in Millers Creek. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, James David Adams. Survivors include her fiancé, Raymond Day of the home; a son, Cory Allen Taylor of N. Wilkesboro; a daughter, Kecia Sue Taylor of N. Wilkesboro; her mother, Martha Benge Adams of Elkin; two sisters, Margie Collins and husband Harvey of State Road, Lynn Bauguess and husband Danny of Traphill; one grandchild, Trenton Scott Mastin; three nieces, one great niece and one great nephew. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Billings Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
