Bessie Jane Weatherman

April 15, 1930 — February 16, 2007

Mrs. Bessie Jane Weatherman age 76, of Wagoner Lane passed away Friday February 16, 2007 at Britthaven of Wilkesboro. Mrs. Weatherman was born April 15, 1930 in Yadkin County to Mitch and Lula Brown Anderson. Mrs. Weatherman was a poultry farmer and homemaker and a member of Austin Full Gospel Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Samuel Weatherman Sr. Survivors include: three sons; David Lee Weatherman Sr. and wife Betty of Traphill, Jessie Samuel Weatherman Jr. and Mickey Samuel Weatherman both of the home; two daughters Debra Mae Nichols and her husband Charles of Traphill and Judy Faye Wagoner and her husband Larry of Elkin; two sisters Nell Wiles of Jonesville, and Ennis Poindexter of Thomasville; and several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Weatherman will be held at 2:00pm Monday February 19, 2007 at Austin Full Gospel Church conducted by Rev. Jimmy Welborn. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery in Jonesville. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
