Traphill Mr. JoBill Bauguess, age 73, of Shepherds X Road passed away Thursday July 3, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Bauguess was born July 5, 1934 in Wilkes County to Burlie and Maude Pruitt Bauguess. Mr. Bauguess was a retired farmer and was a member of Stony Ridge Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Bauguess Prevette. Survivors include: His wife, Cordie Bauguess of the home. Two sons and daughters in law; Danny Bauguess and wife Dorothy, Darrell Bauguess and wife Marina. A daughter and son in law; Debbie Barker and husband Jerry all of Traphill. Three brothers, Bowman Bauguess of Roaring River, Battler Bauguess of Pfafftown, Tony Bauguess of N. Wilkesboro. Three sisters; Lottie Carter of Napersville, Il., Tommie Taylor of McGrady, Jody Hamby of Traphill. Three Grandchildren; Trent Barker and wife Kelley, Trena Barker and fiance' Houston Cain, Steven Bauguess. One Great Granddaughter, Madison Ann. His Dogs; Sammy and Daisy and his cat Bobo. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 5, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Rachel Baptist Church by Rev. Felman Cheek and Rev. Jerry Brooks. The family will receive friends Saturday 12-1:30 pm at the Church prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Brenners Children's Hospital.
