Traphill, Mr. Johnny Carroll Williams, age 62 of Traphill Road passed away Friday December 14, 2007, at his residence. Mr. Williams was born April 25, 1945 in Surry County to John Oscar and Myrtle Cole Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired auto salesman, and was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: two sons, John Williams and wife Deborah of Traphill, Greg Williams and wife Kristy of Elkin., One brother Frank Williams of Catawba, two half brothers, Wayne Gentry and Freddie Gentry both of Elkin. One sister, Jettie Evans of Boonville, two half sisters, Ellen Lloyd of Michigan, and Pat Commerford of Statesville, Three grandchildren, Rebecca Williams of Jonesville, and Shawn Williams, and Brandon Williams, both of Elkin. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bobby Dameron. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00 pm at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. On line condolences may be made at www.hodgesfuneralhomeinc.com.
