Kathy Diane Farris

September 8, 1955 — February 29, 2008

Kathy Diane Farris, age 52 of Carter Mill Rd. passed away Friday, February 29, 2008. Mrs. Farris was born September 8, 1955 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Roby and Hazel Crump Ladd. Mrs. Farris was a Nursing Assistant at Heritage Care and was a member of Thanks To Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include; her husband Jimmy Farris of the home; two sons, Brian Absher and his wife Suzanne of Hamptonville, Robbie Ladd and his wife Elizabeth of Dobson; one brother, Timmy Ladd and his wife Lisa of Elkin; two grandchildren Mason Absher and Debra Ladd; one niece Stephanie Ladd and one nephew Preston Ladd; also her friends and extended family at Heritage Care. Funeral Services for Mrs. Farris will be held at 2pm Tuesday March 4, 2008 at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. James Welborn and Rev. E.R.Wiles. Burial will follow at Rosedale cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8pm at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
