Lytle Columbus Pardue

Lytle Columbus Pardue, 90 of Ronda, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. Mr. Pardue was born October 4, 1919 in Wilkes County to Manual and Alice Lewis Pardue. He was a member of Little Elkin Baptist Church and was retired from W.E. Sale & Son. Mr. Pardue was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Johnny Church; four brothers, James Pardue, Cooper Pardue, Carl Pardue, and Worth Pardue; and four sisters, Margaret Palmer, Betty Sparks, Dacie Macemore, and Rettie Pardue. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Hemric Pardue of the home; two daughters, Juanita Church of Ronda and Judy Bauguess and husband Zeno of Ronda; two grandchildren, Todd Church and Anita Garris; and one great grandson, Matt Garris. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, January 8, 2010 at 2:00pm at Little Elkin Baptist Church with Rev. Gwyn Anderson officiating. The body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Elkin Funeral Service. The family is accepting flowers, but requests no food.
