Willie Sue Sebastian

Ronda Mrs. Zenith "Willie Sue" Byrd Sebastian, age 71, of Blackburn Road, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Sebastian was born August 7, 1936 in Wilkes County to Willie Wake & Dewanna Hemric Byrd. Willie Sue was a member of Briar Creek Baptist Church in Roaring River and she retired from Elkin Furniture. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Chester Sebastian; a brother, Wilton Ray Byrd; a great grandchild, James Brandon Bell. Survivors include: a son, Leonard Dale Sebastian and wife Reta of N. Wilkesboro; a daughter, Mary Ann Sheeler and husband Thomas of N. Wilkesboro; a brother, Allen Byrd of Traphill; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Kevin Blevins and Rev. Phillip Moore. Burial will follow at Ronda Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
