Mr. Glen Edward "Eddie" Marsh, age 48, of Lyles Street, passed away at his residence. Mr. Marsh was born May 2, 1958 in Ashe County to Raymond Glenn & Virginia Ruth Neaves. Mr. Marsh was self-employed and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: His father, Raymond Marsh of Wilkesboro; his mother, Ruth Marsh of Elkin; a son, Christopher Marsh of Savannah, Ga; two daughters, Christina Marsh of Savannah, GA, Cindy George of Mt. Airy; two brothers, Phil Douglas Marsh, Michael Marsh both of Atlantic Beach; three sisters, Wanda Walker and husband Gerald of Jonesville, Jennifer Martin of Boonville, Geneva Davis and husband Roger of East Bend; four grandchildren: Brandon Marsh, Hunter George, Brittany George and Krista Hewitt and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday June 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Valley Baptist Church by Rev. Johnny Blevins.
