Hodges Funeral Home 336-526-4460 Roaring River Mr. Bon Soison Jolley, age 82, of North Ridge Road, passed away Saturday August 25, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Jolley was born May 20, 1925 in Wilkes County to James Walter and Ora Sparks Jolley. Mr. Jolley attended Beulah Land Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Earl Jolley and two brothers, Arthel and James Jolley. Survivors include: His wife, Mildred Moran Jolley of the home. A daughter, Lucille J. Brooks of Dobson. Four grandchildren and spouses, Keith and Nancy Jolley, Lana and Terry Longworth, Cynthia and Neal Pendergrass, Mack and Shina Brooks. Five great grandchildren, Samuel and Aaron Longworth, Eli and Nathan Pendergrass, Clara Brooks. One brother, Edward "Bud" Jolley of Winston-Salem. One sister, Wanda Dimmette of Roaring River. Funeral services will be held Monday August 27, 2007 at 2pm at Beulah Land Baptist Church by Rev. Junior Harrold and Rev. Terry Longworth. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Mr. Jolley will lie instate thirty minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-9 pm at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
