N. Wilkesboro Mrs. Darlene Sue Eller, age 51 of Rock Creek Church Road, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Eller was born November 16, 1957 in Baltimore, MD to Hillary and Laura Bell Hamilton Smith. Mrs. Eller was employed by Mulberry Healthcare. She was a member of Ronda First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Women on Mission. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rhoda Hamilton; two brothers, Johnny Halpipe and Fletcher Hamilton. Survivors include: a husband, Willie Dean Eller of the home; a son, Eric Eller and wife Stacie of Midway, GA; two daughters, Kimberly Salley and husband Danny of N. Wilkesboro, Brandy Edwards and husband Jamie of Traphill; a sister, Loretta Carter of Ronda; five grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Little Elkin Baptist Church by Rev. Marty Nixon and Rev. Gwyn Anderson. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Ronda First Baptist Church, PO Box 159, Ronda, NC 28670 or to Little Elkin Baptist Church, 1161 Little Elkin Church Road, Ronda, NC 28670.
