Traphill Mr. Randy Joe Combs, age 38, of Hanks Street, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2007. Mr. Combs was born March 16, 1969 in Alleghany County to Otis & Iva Lyon Combs. Randy attended Old Roaring River Primitive Baptist Church and was employed by Wayne Farms. Survivors include: his wife, Wendy Mathis Combs of Traphill; two sons, Randel Joe Combs, Jr., Joseph Brent Combs both of Traphill; his father and mother, Otis & Iva Lyon Combs; a brother, Ricky Jordan Combs of Traphill; a sister, Debbie Wood and husband Randy of Elkin; one grandchild, Hunter Austin Combs of Millers Creek. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7th, 2007 at Old Roaring River Primitive Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. by Elder John Lyon and Elder Kenneth Hopkins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
