N. Wilkesboro Mrs. Sharon Parks Fausnet, age 52, of Keener Drive, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 10, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Fausnet was born April 10, 1954 in Surry County to Bill & Evelyn Holbrook Parks. Mrs. Fausnet was a homemaker and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Wilkesboro. She was a wonderful woman, a precious daughter, loving mother and grandmother that will be dearly missed. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Abe Jolly. Survivors include: her daughter, Felicia Brooks and husband Claude of Jonesville; three sons, Justin Alexander of Traphill, Catlin Fausnet, of N. Wilkesboro, Chance Fausnet of Hayes; her mother, Evelyn Holbrook Jolly of Ronda; a brother, Stevie Parks of State Road; a sister, Debbie Casstevens and husband James of Boonville; two precious granddaughters, Lakan Brooks and Gretchen Brooks. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunrise Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
