Virginia Brooks Wilson

Mrs. Virginia Brooks Wilson, age 74, passed away Friday November 25, 2005 at Hoots Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Wilson was born December 4, 1930 in Allegheny County to Walter Samuel and Carrie Spicer Brooks. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Bethel Baptist Church in Yadkinville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Burnette James Wilson. Survivors include: a son, Andy Wilson and his wife Patty of Yadkinville, a daughter, Jenette Moser of North Myrtle Beach SC., two brothers Charles Alvin Brooks of Aberdeen, MD., and Dale Brooks and his wife DeAnna of Thurmond. One sister Delia Moxley of Glade Valley, three grandchildren Bobby Dale Moser and his wife LeAnne, Dustin Wilson and Emily Wilson. Two great grandchildren, Robert Moser and Olivia Moser. One niece, Kristi Sprinkle of Elkin and one Nephew Michael Brooks of Charlotte. Funeral services will conducted, Monday, November 28, 2005 at 2:00pm by Rev. Grady Trivette at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6-8pm at Hodges Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society 4A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.
