Louise Danner Gentry

September 18, 1918 — January 7, 2006

State Road Mrs. Louise Danner Gentry, age 87 of Klondike Road passed away Saturday January 7, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Gentry was born September 18, 1918 in Davie County to Jonah D. and Meadie Hunter Danner. Mrs. Gentry was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. In addition to her parents Mrs. Gentry was preceded in death by her husband McCree Wilson Gentry Sr., a son Michael David Gentry, and a sister Maggie Hudson. Survivors include two sons; McCree Wilson Gentry Jr. and his wife Scottie of State Road and Johnny Asbury Gentry and his wife Deborah of Mt. Airy, one brother, Vestal Danner of Mocksville, and one sister Ruth Sherril of Kannapolis, six grandchildren; Melissa Isaacs, Jason Gentry, Corey Gentry, Madison Gentry, Jonathan Gentry, and Krystal Gentry, four great grandchildren; Hassie Payne Dalton Payne, Hope Gentry and Faith Gentry. Funeral services for Mrs. Gentry will be conducted Tuesday January 10, 2005 at 2:00pm by Rev. Rex Walker and Rev Forrest Fulton at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7-9 pm at Hodges Funeral Home.
