Mr. Robert Lee Holloway, age 76 of US Hwy 21 passed away Friday, September 14, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Holloway was born May 16, 1931 in Wilkes County to John Ervin and Nellie Pardue Holloway. Mr. Holloway was retired from Perdue Feed Company and attended Jonesville Church of God. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Badgett Holloway, three brothers, B.C. Holloway, Monroe Holloway and a twin brother L.P. Holloway; and one sister Bernice Holloway. Survivors include; one sister Shirley Burchette of Ronda; two step daughters Judy Smith and her husband James of Jonesville, Carolyn Hall and her husband Wayne of State Road; seven step grandchildren three step granddaughters, Shannon, Jessica, and Bethany whom he was very close to and three step great grandchildren. A graveside services for Mr. Holloway will be held at 3:00pm Monday, September 17, 2007 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev Phillip King. The family will receive friends from 1:30- 2:30pm prior to the service at Hodges Funeral Home.
