Doris Ingool Kennedy

Harmony Doris Louise Ingool Kennedy, age 71, of Cranfield Road, passed away Saturday June 30, 2007 at Rosewood Assisted Living. Mrs. Kennedy was born in Surry County December 23, 1935 to Walter and Irene Rogers Ingool. Mrs. Kennedy retired from Guilistand Carpet and was a member of Barkers Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Paul Ingool. Survivors include her husband; Willie Sam Kennedy of the home. A step-daughter, Anita Alexander of Harmony. Two step-sons, William Kennedy and Mack Kennedy both of Hays. A brother, Jay Ingool of Yadkinville. Two sisters, Lois Wolfe of Damascas, VA, Letha Groce of Statesville. Four step-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. John Wolfe Burial will follow in Little Stone Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, July 2, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m.at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Little Stone Mountain Baptist Church.
