Brenda Jean Bell

July 18, 1945 — January 17, 2008

Yadkinville Mrs. Brenda Jean Peoples Bell, age 62 of Yadkinville passed away Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Bell was born July 18, 1945 in Surry County to Vilas Hampton & Lena White Peoples. Mrs. Bell was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. She was a very special person and loved everyone she came in contact with. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Peoples Wishon. Survivors include: a daughter, Melinda Gregory and her husband Richie of Dobson; three sisters, Eunice Peoples Winters, Kathleen Barker and husband Harold all of Jonesville, Doris Peoples Nelson and husband Robert of Kernersville; two grandchildren, Jessica Gregory, Emily Gregory; a special friend, Mattie Wall of Elkin. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tim Wolfe and Rev. Kenny Gunn. Burial will follow at Boonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
