Archie Dale Barker

August 19, 1958 — July 6, 2007

Mr. Archie Dale Barker, age 48 of Roaring River passed away Friday July 6, 2007 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Barker was born August 19, 1958 in Surry County to Reba Barker Haynes. Mr. Barker attended Fall Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his mother Mr. Barker was preceded in death by his step father Landan Haynes, step grand parents Henry and Pearlie Haynes and maternal grandfather Dillon Barker. Survivors include; two brothers, Perry Haynes and his wife Candi, Ricky Haynes and his wife Julie; two uncles, Fred Barker and his wife Olivia, and Phillip Barker and his wife Susan; two aunt's, Wanda West and her husband Larry, and Janette Crump and her husband Raymond, and his maternal grandmother Ruby Barker. Funeral services for Mr. Barker will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Oak Level Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Leon Mikles and Rev. James Hall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service, 2-3pm.
