David L. Reeves Jr.

David LeRoy Reeves Jr. 49 resident of Emida, ID died Jan. 2, 2011 at St. Maries following a massive heart attack at his home. He was born October 15, 1961 to David L. and Ruth Ann Harmer Reeves Sr. at Smithville, MO. His father died before he was born and his mother married David Fuller who raised him. He spent his early years in Missouri. He moved to Idaho when he was 8 years old. In the Mid-1970's he moved with his family to Emida. He attended UpRiver and St. Maries schools. As a young man, he worked with his father who was employed by Dick Carman digging water wells.. He married Lois L. Walden on Oct. 28, 1978 at Emida. He worked for Bob Short Sr. at the Shake Mill at Emida before going to work for Larry Ragan Logging in the 1980's. He worked all his life alternating between the forest products industry and the garnet mining industry. He has worked for Frank Michael Logging before being employed at his current position as a heavy equipment operator for Emerald Creek Garnet Co. He enjoyed collecting bells and hunting. He is survived by his wife Lois at the family home in Emida. Also surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Adam and Millissa Reeves of Emida, Jacob Reeves and fiance' Kadie of Potlatch, ID David and Jessica Reeves III , Randy and Carrie Reeves, Rusty and Jamye Reeves and Wiley Reeves and his friend Brianna all of Emida, ID David is also survived by his mother Ruth Ann Fuller of Emida and brothers Chris Reeves and wife Yvonne of Spokane, WA, Tim Fuller of Emida, Dan Fuller of St. Maries and Robert Fuller of Spokane, WA. Also surviving are 5 grandchidren. He was preceded in death by both his fathers David Reeves Sr. and David Fuller.
