Jonesville Mr. Drake Anthony Barker, age 44, of S. Center Street, Jonesville, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Barker was born June 21, 1961 in Surry County to Harold & Kathleen White Barker. Mr. Barker was an avid race car fan and was self employed in construction. Survivors include: His father and mother, Harold & Kathleen White Barker of the home; two brothers, Terry Barker and wife Sherry of Boonville, Steven Barker of Jonesville; a special friend, Lisa Shore of Jonesville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tom Nusbaum. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
