Conyers, GA Mr. Grafton Michael Roberts, age 48, of Old Salem Drive, Conyers, Ga, passed away Monday, June 13, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Roberts was born August 3, 1956 in Wilkes County to Grafton Blaine & Zelle Marie Williams Roberts. Mr. Roberts was a member of Union Baptist Church in Hamptonville. He was a graduate of Starmount High School and received his Masters Degree from North Carolina State University. He retired after 25 years of service from John Deere in Georgia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four uncles, three aunts, his grandparents and a nephew. Survivors include: his wife of 23 years, Debbie V. Roberts of the home; his father and mother, Grafton Blaine & Zelle Marie Williams Roberts of Hamptonville; a son, Michael Casey Roberts of the home; a daughter, Shana Maire Roberts of the home; two sisters, Muriel Roberts of Chesnee, SC, Jane Campbell and husband Alfred of Duncan SC; two aunts, Cynda Wiles of Texas and Jettie Love of Wilkesboro; an uncle Marvin Williams of N. Wilkesboro; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamptonville at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Kenny Pardue. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Children's College Fund or to Union Baptist Church Cemetery Funds.
