Mohea Tucker Caudill

February 16, 1915 — January 20, 2006

State Road Mrs. Mohea Tucker Caudill, age 90, of Pleasant Ridge Road, passed away Friday, January 20, 2006 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Caudill was born February 16, 1915 in Surry County to Eric Watson &Susan Letitia Bryant Tucker. Mrs. Caudill was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and she retired from Wilkes County School System where she worked in the Cafeteria. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earlie H. Caudill; two brothers, three sisters. Survivors include: three sons, Winfrey Caudill and wife Margaret, David R. Caudill and wife Peggy, Teddy W. Caudill and wife Sybil all of State Road; a daughter, Maevonne T. Cheek and husband Larry of State Road; two sisters, Kathryn T. Poindexter of Sanford, Darlene T. Ward of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2006 at 3:30 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Dan Merritt. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Building Fund, 1997 Pleasant Ridge Road, State Road, NC 28676.
