Traphill Mrs. Beatrice Castevens Holbrook, age 79 of Traphill Road, passed away Monday, August 29, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Holbrook was born November 19, 1925 in Wilkes County to Dewey "Red" & Beulah Holbrook Castevens. Mrs. Holbrook was a member of Round Hill Baptist Church and was previous owner of Holbrook Motel in Wilkesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: her husband James W. Holbrook of the home; a son, Ralph Samuel Holbrook and wife Karen of Traphill; a brother, William Clinton Castevens of N. Wilkesboro; a granddaughter, Christian Laray Holbrook. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Round Hill Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Matthew Higgins.
