Elkin Mr. Charles Edward "Eddie" Anderson, age 54, of Lyles Street, Elkin, went to his home in Heaven Monday, May 10, 2004 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Anderson was born March 15, 1950 in Edgecombe County to William Montgomery & Georgia Billings Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a member of Daybreak Christian Church where he was the associate pastor from 1986 to 1999 after graduating in 1986 from Rhema Bible Training Center in Oklahoma. Eddie was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and Army Reserve. He currently served as Chaplain of Wilkes Correction Center. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandmother, Stella Billings. Survivors include: his wife of 30 years, Suzanne L. Anderson of the home; two daughters, Amber T. Anderson, Sunshine Gilliam and husband Gene all of State Road; three brothers, William Anderson and wife Teresa of King, James Anderson and wife Paula of State Road, Alan Anderson and wife Deann of Rockingham; a sister, Jo Ann Darnell and husband Michael of Ronda; mother-in-law, Wilma Funk and husband Cecil of Elkin; sister-in-law, Tammy Meadows and husband Danny of Harmony; aunt and uncle, Mary Ann and R.C. Pardue of McLeansville; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. A celebration home-going will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at Daybreak Christian Church by Pastor Mike Lane and Associate Pastor Stewart Roten. Memorials may be given to Wilkes Correctional Center, Chaplain Ministry 404 Statesville Road, N. Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
