Riley Logan O'Dwyer 24 Fernwood, ID resident, died Aug. 30, 2011 in a boating accident that resulted in a drowning accident on Coeur d' Alene Lake. He was born December 8, 1986 to Roger and Joanne Lewadnuk O'Dwyer at Fernwood, ID. He grew up at Fernwood and attended UpRiver School. Riley graduated from St. Maries High School with the class of 2006. While in High School, he participated with the visual arts program and KJAX studio productions. Following graduation, he attended the Culinary Arts program at North Idaho College. While in school, he was employed by the Tomato Street Restaurant in Coeur d' Alene. Following his time spent at North Idaho College , he took a sabbatical from food preparation and lived in Chicago, IL. with his brother Tyler and wife Shelly. While in Chicago, he worked for Costco Company. He returned to Coeur d' Alene in 2009 and worked as a Prep Cook in the restaurant at Gozzer Ranch. Riley is survived by his parents Roger and Joanne O'Dwyer of Fernwood, ID., his grandparents Charlene and Roger T. O'Dwyer of Keizer, OR. and Hilda Helle of Arlington, WA. His brothers and sisters-in-law Tyler and Shelly O'Dwyer of Lakemoor, IL and Shawn and Heather O'Dwyer of Coeur d' Alene, ID. Riley is also survived by his sister Bridgette O'Dwyer of Santa, ID. Riley enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and visiting his relatives on the Oregon coast. He liked to go ice-fishing in the winter with his brothers and Dad. He also enjoyed snowboarding with his brother Shawn and wife Heather. Riley appreciated the many outdoor hunting and fishing opportunities that living in Idaho provided him. Riley loved music and being with his friends. A celebration of Riley's life will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Maries Church of the Nazarene 175 Grandview Dr., St. Maries with Pastor A.J. Anderson officiating.
