Talmage Paul Triplett

July 4, 1924 — December 28, 2005

Elkin Mr. Talmage Paul Triplett, age 81, of Barker Road, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Triplett was born July 4, 1924 in Wilkes County to Link & Fannie Baldwin Triplett. Mr. Triplett was retired from Chatham Manufacturing and was a member of Oak Level Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers. Survivors include: a wife, Blanche West Triplett of the home; two sons, Jr. Triplett and wife Nancy, Charles Triplett and wife Becky; a daughter, Margaret Swisher and husband James, all of Elkin; nine grandchildren, Ricky Myers, Chastity Layell, Misty Lester, Kim Clendenen, Bobby Triplett, Melissa Bullins, Luke Triplett, Jody Brown Triplett, Justin Harkey; nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Level Baptist Church by Rev. James Hall and Rev. Olin Barker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Triplett will lie instate 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Oak Level Baptist Church Building Fund.
