Mr. Richard Edward Brower, age 64 of Jonesville, passed away Friday, February, 4, 2011. He was born August 2, 1946 in Islip, NY to Joseph Edward and Marion Elizabeth Johnson Brower. Mr. Brower was employed at Wal-Mart and attended Jonesville First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Stephanie Allen Brower of the home, children Clara Atha and her husband Randall of Clear Creek, WV and Harry Collins and his wife Jennifer of Sherrils Ford, NC; brother Doug Brower of Medford, NY; sister Carol Walsh of Medford, NY; grandchildren Baylee Collins, Haven Collins, Hunter Collins, and Nikolas Atha; special friends Sue Ann and Tim Mendenhall and their children Jennifer and Jessica. A memorial service will be conducted Monday, February 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in Jonesville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Swafford and Rev. Ernestine Young officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. The family requests that memorials be made to Jonesville First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 311 W. Main Street, Jonesville, NC 28642.
