Traphill Mrs. Cora Jane Moore, age 99, of Traphill, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Avante of Wilkes. Mrs. Moore was born April 8, 1907 in Wilkes County to Jim & Jane Hoosier. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Moore; a son, Clyde Hoosier, two brothers, Novi Hoosier and Vestal Hoosier; a granddaughter, Darlene Litton, a stepson, Thomas Moore. Survivors include, a stepdaughter, Velmea Moore Dodd of Norfolk, VA; two step grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a special niece, Bonnie Hoosier of Traphill; four great nephews and a great niece. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church by Elder Ralph Hampton and Rev. Owen Dobbins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church.
