Bernice Sue Cole

Roaring River Mrs. Bernice Sue Cole, age 82, of Elkin Highway 268 passed away, Thursday, September 27, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Wilkes County to John & Bessie Chambers Holleman. Mrs. Cole was a homemaker and was a member of White Plains Baptist Church in Roaring River. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Cole; a sister, Blanch Wood; three brothers, Charlie Holleman, Lester Holleman, James "John Henry" Holleman. Survivors include: two daughters, Mary Clonch and husband Rex of Roaring River, Louise Lisiewski and husband Walter of Woodlands, TX; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountlawn Memorial Park by Rev. Wesley Nelson.
