Mount Airy Mrs. Shelina Renee Boger Shepherd, age 34, of New Creed Lane, Mt. Airy, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Northern Hospital of Surry. Mrs. Shepherd was born October 28, 1973 in Surry County to Dennis Gray & Pat Southard Boger. Mrs. Shepherd was employed by J.R. Lynch & Son in Pilot Mountain and was a member of Trinity Christian Center where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include: her husband, David Shepherd, of the home; her mother, Pat Southard Boger of State Road; a sister, Diana Abernathy of State Road; a nephew, Graylon Hughes, two nieces, Amani Tilley and Alexus Scott all of State Road. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. John Cox and Rev. Jason Brown. Burial will follow at the Boger Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home.
