Jonesville, Mrs. Kay Frances Barker, age 58 of Williams Street Jonesville passed away August 11, 2005 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Barker was born May 8, 1947 in Surry County to Claude and Frances Gregory Barker. Survivors include: a sister Alta Spainhour of Elkin, two nephews: Terry Spainhour and wife Betty Jo of Ronda, Keith Spainhour and wife Diane of Elkin, great nieces Katie Spainhour, Jessica Spainhour, and Cameron Price, a great nephew James Smith, and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Slade Blend and Rev. Leslie Pulley. Burial will follow at Sunrise cemetery.
