Jonesville Mr. Bobby Lee Randleman, age 70, of Jonesville Blvd. went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 27, 2006 at Hoots Memorial Hospital. Mr. Randleman was born August 9, 1936 in Yadkin County to John Ervin & Myrtle Brooks Randleman. Mr. Randleman was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Chatham Manufacturing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louis Jackson and Genette Prevette; a great grandson, Nathan Willard. Survivors include: his wife, Betty Wiles Randleman of the home; three daughters, Barbara R. Barker of Jonesville, Sandra R. Elliott and husband Rick of Warrensville, Michelle R. Tait and husband Andrew of Boonville; two brothers, John Earl Randleman of Jonesville, Carbet Randleman of Greensboro; three sisters, Mildred Poteat of Ronda, Geraldine Tilley of Jonesville, Dorothy Randleman of Wilkesboro; three grandchildren, Brian Barker and wife Lisa of Jonesville, D.J. Draughn of Warrensville, Zack Willard of Boonville; a step granddaughter, Whitney Irvin of Jonesville; one great grandchild, Tyler Barker. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 29, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Don Hudson. Burial will follow at Fall Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200 Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
