Traphill Mrs. Brenda Sue Sprinkle Crabb, age 59, of Lowe Meadows Lane, passed away Thursday, February 09, 2006 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Crabb was born August 3, 1946 in Surry County to Wayne R. & Edith Gentry Sprinkle. Mrs. Crabb was a homemaker and was a member of Stoney Ridge Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Crabb and a brother, Larry Sprinkle. Survivors include: her husband, Raymond Crabb, Jr. of the home; her mother, Edith Gentry Sprinkle of Elkin; a son, Randy Crabb and wife Mandy of Hamptonville; a brother, Mack Sprinkle and wife Tina of N. Wilkesboro; two grandchildren, Zachary Crabb and Kinsey Crabb. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Stoney Ridge Baptist Church by Rev. Joel Blevins and Rev. Dwayne Byrd. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Crabb will lie instate 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Stoney Ridge Baptist Church Building Fund, Traphill, NC 28685.
