I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2Timothy 4:6-7 Annie Shore Shoemaker, age 93, of South Jonesville Blvd, passed away Saturday December 31, 2005 at Elkin Healthcare Center. Mrs. Shoemaker was born in Yadkin County May 31, 1912 to Aquilla and Samantha Patton Shore. Mrs. Shoemaker was a homemaker and was a Charter member of Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, G. Dean Shoemaker, four sisters, Zetta S. Lewis, Duella S. Burch, Viola S. Shoemaker, Ruby Shore, one brother, Brady Shore. Survivors include; A son and daughter-in-law, Jack Donald Shoemaker and his wife Pat of Winston Salem. Two daughters and sons-in-law, Dixie Wright and husband, Jessie of Charlotte, Patricia Ireson and husband Cecil of Jonesville. Seven Grandchildren and Spouses, Fred and Pam Shoemaker, Renee Bauer all of Winston Salem, Sandra and Barry Bryant of Jonesville, Terry and Chastity Wright of Charlotte, Scott and Melissa Wright of York, SC, Dawn and Kim Poston of Elkin, Rev. Charles and Sandra Ireson of Summerfield. Fourteen Great Grandchildren, Two Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 3, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. J.P. Sizemore, Rev. Tim Lane, Rev. Charles Ireson. Burial will follow in Boonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Tuesday at Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the donors choice.
