Ronda Mrs. Wanda Lee Summey, age 59, of Cedar Forest Road, passed away, Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Summey was born July 11, 1947 in Galax, Va. to Elphus & Wilma Lee Carpenter Summey. Wanda was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: her companion, George Stoll of the home; a brother, James Summey of Boonville; two half brothers, Curtis Summey of Jonesville, Jack Summey of Fries, Va. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin is serving the Summey family.
