Lenoir Mrs. Jeanette Pauline Brookshire, age 68, of Wilkesboro Blvd., passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Gateway Nursing Center in Lenoir. Mrs. Brookshire was born March 25, 1940 in Caldwell County to Paul Edward & Vera Mae Adams Greene. Mrs. Brookshire was a homemaker and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Lenoir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley Williams and a brother, John Greene. Survivors include her husband William Joseph "Bill" Brookshire, Sr. of the home; three sons, Bill Brookshire, Jr. and wife Jean of Lenoir, Greg Brookshire and wife Rhonda, Robert Brookshire and wife Debra Sue all of Granite Falls; two daughters, Teresa Burgett and husband Tim of Creston, Lisa Dula of Fleetwood; three brothers, Danny Greene of High Point, Keathley Greene and wife Linda of Elkin; Julian Greene and wife Teresa of Lenoir; two sisters, Winifred Setzer and husband Shober , Nancy Taylor and husband Sonny all of Hudson, two sisters-in-law, Sunsil Greene of Hickory, Linda Greene of Lexington; eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church by Rev. Ron Burgett and Rev. Robert Brown. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends an hour and a half prior to the service from 12:30-2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church.
