Jonesville Miss Madelyn K. Thompson, age 87 of Jonesville, passed away Monday, December 3, 2007 at Hugh Chatham Nursing Center. Miss Thompson was born July 22, 1920 in Yadkin County to Grover & Mabel Finney Thompson. Miss Thompson was a homemaker and was a member of Jonesville First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Thompson and Doris Eskridge. Survivors include: a nephew Joseph D. Eskridge of Tryon, NC; two nieces, Sarah Himan of Weaverville, NC, Judith E. Williams of Hillsborough, NC. There will be a private service held at a later date.
