Roy Wilson Barr

Mr. Roy Wilson Barr, age 77, of Thurmond passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Barr was born April 30, 1933 in Princeton WV. to Charles and Ollie Poe Barr. He served in the US. Air Force and was of the Lutheran faith. In addition to his parents Mr. Barr was preceded in death by five siblings. He is survived by his wife Molly Bienstadt Barr of the home; one daughter Patricia Ann Reid and her husband Rick; a step daughter Kristine Citron and her husband Wayne; a step son Michael E. Petroff and his wife Debbie all oc Chicago, IL; a granddaughter Jennifer Renghini; and three grreat grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
