Inez Johnson Shore

October 25, 1916 — February 23, 2005

Elkin Mrs. Ollie Inez Johnson Shore, age 88, of Harris Avenue, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Northern Surry Hospital. Mrs. Shore was born November 25, 1916 in Surry County to W. Dixie & Connie Davis Johnson. Mrs. Shore was a homemaker and a member of Elkin First Baptist Church where she was a member of WMU. She was also co-founder of the Garden Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband, Paul W. Shore; two brothers, Bryce Johnson and Harding Johnson; a sister-in-law, Betty Johnson Survivors include: a daughter Anita Crawford and husband Tom of Monroe; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Johnson; two grandchildren, Jenni McLeod of Elkin and Jonathon Jordan of Matthews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin First Baptist Church by Dr. Bill Johnson. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Elkin First Baptist Church.
