Dobson Mrs. Lillie Yarboro Couch, age 89, of Dunmore Plantation, passed away, Sunday, January 6, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Couch was born July 15, 1918 in Wilkes County to Evie F. & Bertie Carter Yarboro. Mrs. Couch was a homemaker and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Reece Couch. Survivors include her daughter, Gretchen Couch of Lewisville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Danny Dodds. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Elkin, NC 28621.
