Elkin Miss Jackie Sue Robinson, age 54, of James Street, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Grace Healthcare. Miss Robinson was born April 9, 1954 in Surry County to Jack Frazier & Fannie Sue Harris. Jackie was a member of Elkin First Baptist Church and was retired from North Carolina Association of Rescue Squad. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include: her mother, Fannie Sue Harris Robinson of the home; several cousins. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Hollywood Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Elkin First Baptist Church by Dr. Bill Johnson and Rev. Rebecca Maynard. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Elkin First Baptist Church, 110 Gwyn Ave. Elkin, NC 28621.
