Elizabeth "Liz" Weresch Wanner 69 resident Santa, ID. Died May 11, 2011 at Spokane, WA. She was born June 29, 1941 to John and Maude Woodbury Barlow at Salt Lake City, UT. She grew up and attended schools in Filer and Heyburn, ID. She had several marriages which ended in divorce. She lived most of her life at Heyburn, where she was a homemaker and raised her family. She married Karl Weresch in 1992. They moved to Santa, ID in 1996. While living at Santa, she attended the University of Idaho and received her Masters Degrees in Archeology, Paleontology and Anthropology. Karl died in 2006. She went on to receive her PhD in Geology from the Univ. of Idaho in 2007. Liz married her childhood sweetheart Rodney Wanner on April 29, 2009 at St. Maries. She was a member of the St. Maries Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Liz is survived by her husband Rodney at the family home at Santa. Also surviving are her son David Sterling Jr. of Idaho Falls, ID, Daughters Shannon Hanson of Burley, ID., and Judy Moncur of Boise, ID. She is also survived by step-daughters Kandy Moncher of Burley, ID and Roxanne Morfinn of West Point, UT. As well as 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons Shane and Jamie Fuss.
