Jonesville Mrs. Audrey Jean Mitchell Kincaid, age 60, of Oakwood Acres, passed away Friday May 4, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Kincaid was born February 8, 1947 in Surry County to Calvin and Ruby McBride Mitchell. Mrs. Kincaid worked in accounting with Holliday Inn and was a member of East Elkin Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include; Her husband, Larry Kincaid of the home. A daughter and son-in-law, Krystal Kincaid Myers and husband Jeffrey of Hamptonville. Her mother, Ruby McBride Mitchell of Elkin. A brother and sister-in-law, Ricky Mitchell and wife Linda of Elkin. Three Grandchildren, Bethany Myers, Tyler Myers, Trey Myers. Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 8, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Rex Walker and Rev. Wesley Smith. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:30-8:30 pm at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice or to Relay for Life.
