Gladys Virginia Cole

December 4, 1930 — February 21, 2008

Jonesville Mrs. Gladys Virginia Cole, age 77, of Ava Jane Lane, Jonesville, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Cole was born December 4, 1930 in Morristown, New Jersey to John & Pauline Leiszner Glaab. Mrs. Cole was a homemaker and was involved with Munsinville Women's Group and she attended Munsinville Methodist Church in Munsinville, New Hampshire. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Calvin C. Cole, Sr. and a brother, John Glaab. Survivors include: a son, Calvin C. Cole Jr. and wife Mary Ellen of Maine; two daughters, Cynthia L. Pettigand and husband Ronald of Budd Lake, New Jersey, Linda Lord and husband Thomas of Jonesville; a sister, Paula Marice of Cedar Knolls, New Jersey; ten grandchildren, Kenny Pierson, Gregory Pierson, Dawn Pierson, Heather Pierson, Calvin Cole, III, James Cole, Jonathan Cole, Christina Cole, Timothy Cole and Chet Lord. Graveside services will be held Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at the Lord/Cole Family Cemetery conducted by Cynthia Pettigand.
