Roaring River Mr. Abe Link Jolly age 70 of Burcham Road, passed away, Sunday, January 9, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Jolly was born February 15, 1934 in Wilkes County to James Martin & Maude Pruitt Jolly. Mr. Jolly was a member of Rachel Baptist Church and was retired from Larry Alexander Concrete Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Billy Ray Jolly and a sister, Ozeal Burcham. Survivors include: his wife, Frances Holbrook Jolly of Ronda; a stepson, Stevie Parks of State Road; a daughter, Rebecca Keaton and husband Glen of Mocksville; two stepdaughters, Debbie Casstevens and husband James of Boonville, Sharon Fausnet of Moravian Falls; two brothers, Roby Gray Jolly of N. Wilkesboro, Bobby Ray Jolly of Roaring River; two sisters, Eva Lee Lucas of Roaring River, Retta Durham of N. Wilkesboro; a grandson, Michael Keaton; one step granddaughter, Felicia Brooks; three step grandsons; one special great granddaughter, Lakan Brooks. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Rachel Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Hillery Wood. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
