Lovell Paul Cutlip

June 25, 1948 — March 5, 2008

Roaring River Mr. Lovell Paul Cutlip, age 59, of Elkin Hwy. 268, Roaring River, passed away, Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Carolina's Medical Center. Mr. Cutlip was born June 25, 1948 in Pylesville, Maryland to Arthur Mason & Mable Rudd Cutlip. Paul was retired from Wilkes Regional Medical Center and was a member of Thanks to Calvary Baptist Church where he loved playing his guitar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Dwight Cutlip and Mason Lee Cutlip; a sister, Dora Faye Cutlip. Survivors include: his wife, Cheryl Moore Cutlip of the home; a son, Chad Patrick Cutlip and wife Penelope of Lexington, SC; two sisters, Darlene Dixon and husband Arnold of Ronda, Eleanor Mae Lowe of Rosamond, California; one grandchild, Seth Cutlip; several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Thanks to Calvary Baptist Church by Rev. Steve Mahaffey and Rev. Larry Adams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Thanks to Calvary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Hospitality House of Charlotte, PO Box 36891, Charlotte, NC 28236. or to Rescue America Baptist Missions, 231 Benton Lane, N.
