Lorraine F. Dugger 91 lifetime resident of St. Maries, ID died Sept. 6, 2010 at St. Maries. She was born February 27, 1919 to William and Clara Wunderlich Cardwell at Ford, ID. She grew up in the Sanders and Emida, ID area. She married Ralph Dugger on Nov. 27, 1936 at Vancouver, WA. They lived in Portland, OR for a year before moving to Sanders, ID in 1938. She began to raise her family there. She moved to St. Maries in 1946. She worked as a cook at Herrick, ID in a logging camp to raise money to purchase a sewing machine. She went to work at Murphy's Drug Store in 1955. The store was purchased by Mike Zundell in 11957 and she continued to work for him as a sales clerk for Mike's Drug. Her husband died in 1977. She retired from Mike's Drug in 1985. She then worked part time for Western Auto and Bill's Cycle Shop. She also worked for Geese and Things and Country Fair. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing for people and dancing at the Eagles Lodge. She was a member of the St. Maries Eagles Auxiliary and the St. Maries Elks Lodge. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Darrell and Shirley Dugger and son Blackie Dugger and daughter Janice Weinmann all of St. Maries, ID. She is also survived by sister Edna Huff of Superior, MT , 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren Funeral Services will be Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. At Hodge Funeral Home, St. Maries with Fr. Timothy Ritchey officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery with a gathering of family and friends following that at the St. Maries Eagles Lodge.
